Super absorbent materials are polymer-based materials that are used in hygiene and personal care products to keep the skin dry. They trap 100-200 times their own weight in liquid. Superabsorbent polymers used today are cross-linked polyacrylate polymers with very small particles such as sodium acrylate, potassium acrylate or alkyl acrylate. These polymers are generally used in the form of granules. These polymers improve the liquid holding capacity of the diapers, allowing thinner products by using less fluff pulp and providing better performance.

Applications

This superabsorbent is specifically designed to use in conventional baby diapers and adult incontinence articles. It is particularly recommended to use NR60H grade to optimize the performance of hygiene articles that contain a lower to moderately high superabsorbents concentration within the absorbent core.
